Painting a small hamlet called “The Jambhulwadi”
Namita’s Fitness Hub is involved in social service for many years. This year NFH took up the project of painting a small hamlet called “The Jambhulwadi” in Maharashtra. Today this village is called blue village. It’s an exemplary village for cleanliness and beauty. The Jambhulwadi project news spread like fire when it was published in main media stream like Sakal and Pudhari. It was also noticed by online media such as FS News.
Raktadaan
NFH organized Blood Donation Camp as part of giving 'life'.NFH joined hands with Kutch Yuvak Sabha and the collective blood was send to a government hospital for the underprivileged. The camp was inaugurated by Namita Sharma after a small prayer.NFH volunteers along with the leader worked shoulder to shoulder in the noble deed of 'Raktadaan'.So many NFHITES came forward to donate blood with a good spirit and even their friends, kin and kith too were active donors.Time slots were alloted to each donor to avoid chaos and waiting period.Everything was so meticulously organized.It was a wonderful initiative and an exhilarating experience. NFH could successfully donate 75 units of blood in a day which was a commendable number .
Jeevandaan
Namita decided to clean the premises of NFH as well as the society around it.As part of 'jeevandaan'a few dozens pots and saplings were donated .The task included Cleaning the premises,replacing the broken pots with new ones ,cleaning the pathway and to plant new saplings.she galvanized the action for a real change by commiting to clean the society in her own way by spreading the awareness of how a clean premises is a step forward to clean the society by enabling a tangible way for NFHITES to contribute along with her.It was a marvellous deed to protect the environment one inhabits.
Annadaan
All the poor and destitute in and around Nerul were invited for a meal at NFH.Namita sprinkled her warmth ,compassion,love and kindness to each and every child,man,woman,girls, boys,the aged and the sick.carpets were laid on the floor for them to sit. A sumptuous meal was served.NFHItes joined hands along with her to be part of this noble deed.The whole afternoon was delegated for this service. The happiness in their faces was beyond words could express.
GO GREEN
Namita decided to support the campaign GO GREEN. She adopted two traffic islands. She took the trouble to get permission from the NMMC and with great difficulty she was allowed to adopt them. It was indeed anHerculean task. But for her the cause was always important than all the hard work which goes behind the scenes. Namita promised a greener tomorrow by creating a greener society and beautifying Navi Mumbai. As a responsible citizen she believed in saving Mother Earth and has always been vocal about using the resources judiciously be it water or electricity and she followed what she preached. She wanted every citizen to live in a clean, pure, safe and healthy environment. Placards were made campaigning for 'GO GREEN' and placed in those traffic islands. She actively participated in planting and watering the saplings.
A visit to a Mentally challenged school
Ms Namita Sharma's next place of visit was the school for mentally challenged. She danced and shared a meal too. Namita gave happiness and spread the wings of her love and tender care to them. She felt blissful in choosing to serve those innocent children and experiencing a different happiness of giving.
A visit to an Old Age Home
Namita Sharma taught the elderly people different kinds of exercises which would be of aid to keep them fit The elderly lot shared whatever joys and sorrows they had with her. She spent sometime with them and realized that their primary need was they wanted someone to listen to them. Namita danced to the tunes of their era and they became nostalgic as she took them down the memory lane. Games were played, meals were served and she even hada meal with them, Namita in her own special way made the day of so many elderly people and returned with loads of blessings and best wishes in her kitty.
A visit to a Deaf And Dumb School
Truly euphoric! She went to a school of hearing impaired. There too she spent time by playing games and food was served as per the choice of the children. She helped the school by providing them with the required items. She considers herself fortunate to be a medium of joy to all those kids. I guess she would have turned out an angel to all.
A visit to an Orphanage
In the orphanage, with her love and tenderness Namita brought a smile on their faces and also shared happiness and good times which they truly deserved. Sumptuous meal was sponsored and games were organized. She ever helped them to organize dance shows.
Medical Camp at NFH
We saw the glamour, funside and party mood in this chapter. In addition to this there is more to throw light into Namita's thoughtfulness. She conducted a Medical camp for all the students specially women, as they have no time for themselves. They usually live for others and neglect their health. They don't go to the doctors themselves for trivial issues. Hence she called in renowned specialists at the hub. Skin Specialist, Pulmonologist, Dentist, Gynecologist, Opthamologist And General Physician were called in. She got all her students checked under one roof for various health issues.
